South Korean government has also offered scholarships to international students every year. The amount of these scholarships varies and are given to students on merit basis. Korean scholarships for Pakistani students in 2016 were awarded as an equal amount to complete tuition fee or 30% tuition fee. These scholarships are given under Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) scheme.

IELTS 5.0: Compared to many other countries, the minimum scoring for IELTS is lower at only 5.0. A score of 4.5 is also acceptable in some cases, depending on interview.
